The Rooms

We book only one party at a time, which may be just you or include your family or friends. You have a choice of four intimate bedrooms on the second floor of the farmhouse: Edward I has a single bed, Edward II and III have a double bed each, and the Attic has two singles. The bathroom is shared by these rooms.

Our Classic Ontario style farmhouse was built about 1900 by John Whalen Jr. on the foundation of his family's original log home. In 1991 we added to the rear an 1810/1840 Georgian style house, moved from Richmond Hill. Both houses have been unified and adaptively restored inside to the appropriate period. The various outbuildings, dating from the 1860s to the present, have also been moved from elsewhere or built from old materials.
